About Anna Pierce, MD, FACS, FASMBS, ABOM
Dr. Pierce is a general and bariatric surgeon.
She received her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and completed her general surgery residency at TriHealth-Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She then completed a fellowship in advanced gastrointestinal and minimally invasive surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, where she received extra training in bariatric surgery. She is board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery.
Dr. Pierce is a native of northeastern Wisconsin. She and her husband enjoy the outdoors, especially hiking and biking.
