Camille Almond, MD

About Camille Almond, MD

Dr. Almond completed a bachelor of science degree in molecular biology at Tulane University in New Orleans, followed by medical training at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. She completed her residency in ophthalmology at the University of Washington in Seattle, where she took an interest in medical and refractive issues of the cornea. Desiring exposure to the treatment of complex vision-threatening corneal issues, as well as the satisfying experience of treating otherwise healthy patients with refractive issues, Dr. Almond selected a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Almond keeps her knowledge base up-to-date by maintaining membership in professional societies such as the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, the Cornea Society, the Midwest Cornea Society and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
