About Daniel T. McKenna, MD, FACS
Dr. McKenna received his medical degree from Creighton University and did his surgical residency at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He completed a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire. While at Dartmouth, he received advanced training in laparoscopic and bariatric surgery. After the completion of his training, he was an assistant professor of surgery with the Indiana University School of Medicine where he served as director of the Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship and the Esophageal and Gastric Surgery Center. Dr. McKenna is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.
As a native of De Pere, Dr. McKenna enjoys practicing in northeastern Wisconsin. Away from the office he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, and in his free time is an avid runner and downhill skier.
