New Aurora BayCare location in Kaukauna dedicated to offering a high quality of care closer to home
GREEN BAY – A new Aurora BayCare Medical Center outpatient clinic, ambulatory surgery center and urgent care facility is on pace to open to the Kaukauna community in summer 2020.
Aurora BayCare offered a sneak peak at its new facility this week.
The 72,000-square-foot clinic will house 13 clinic specialties and seven outpatient surgery specialties. There also will be a dedicated area for rehabilitation and sports medicine, Urgent Care Plus, diagnostics and pharmacy.
“By constructing the facility in Kaukauna, we strive to deliver comprehensive, integrated health care for patients with convenient, local access,” said Daniel Meyer, president of Aurora BayCare. “Many people travel to receive health care services, which is why it’s important that Aurora BayCare offers patients high-quality health care closer to home.”
The facility is designed with patient experience and safety in mind. “We want to make our patient’s visit is as easy as possible while ensuring quality and efficiency of their care. The same leaders who oversee our tertiary medical facility in Green Bay are bringing the expertise of the various departments to our Kaukauna site,” Jennifer Schnell, director of rehabilitation at Aurora BayCare, stated.
The diagnostic area is conveniently located between the clinic, surgery center and Urgent Care Plus. It will offer a full, onsite lab, mobile MRI, X-ray, CT and mammography.
Aurora BayCare intends to add more than 15 jobs to the Kaukauna community as a result of opening this clinic and surgery center.
Grand-opening event details will be released to the public closer to summer 2020.
