Tony Violetta is BayCare Clinic’s new chief administrative officer, the organization has announced.
Violetta, formerly the Green Bay-based organization’s director of human resources, steps into a new executive role in which he takes on expanded executive leadership responsibilities including business development/strategic growth, various insurance programs, credentialing, human resources, information technology, marketing and public relations, operations, provider relations, and training and operational development.
“I’m excited and I’m humbled by this new opportunity to better help move BayCare Clinic along a deliberate and strategic path toward sustainable growth while also ensuring we continue to consistently provide the top-quality specialty health care services our patients and their families need and deserve,” Violetta says.
His new role comes on the heels of Dr. Ashwani Bhatia accepting the role of chief executive officer for BayCare Clinic. Former CEO Chris Augustian serves as president of clinic ventures, a new position in which he manages and helps advance the joint venture relationship between BayCare Clinic and Advocate Aurora Health.
“These recent leadership changes offer great opportunities to position BayCare Clinic for continued success as we grow in a direction that helps us better meet our patients’ evolving specialty health care needs,” Violetta says.
He joined BayCare Clinic in 2007, having previously worked in human resources for a large utility contractor. He had been responsible for providing strategic and operational support for all aspects of BayCare Clinic’s human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, staff development, corporate insurance, and compliance.
