Town of Scott Bike Lane Fundraising Campaign
Preserving the past, investing in the future
A capital campaign for the Town of Scott
The Town of Scott, in partnership with BayCare Clinic, is embarking on a capital campaign to fund the new bike lanes
The capital campaign will fund bike lanes on:
- Bay Settlement Road between Church Road and Van Lanen Road
- Van Lanen Road from Bay Settlement Road to the city limits
- And a new trail from Bay Settlement Road north to Fischer Road
The Town of Scott Connections capital campaign seeks to raise $625,000 for the bike lane project and a related effort to move our historic town hall to a new park on Van Lanen Road across from Wequiock Park.
BayCare Clinic’s involvement
Supporting the campaign is a perfect fit for BayCare Clinic, given its years-long support of cycling as a safe, healthy, family-friendly activity through its BayCare Clinic Bikes initiative. That initiative is the driving force behind the clinic’s free bike helmet distributions and its signature event, the BayCare Clinic Century Bayshore to Lakeshore ride which takes riders through the Town of Scott.
